One of the first lessons in business I learnt was from the Produce Department. Imagine a young 14 year old Amanda, if you will, learning to stack fruit and veg. My gorgeous boss, Lex, explained to me that I was not to put anything out that I wouldn’t buy myself.
A couple of years later and I still apply the rotten fruit lesson daily, and it has evolved to my product development too. This card is a prime example of me creating a card that I’ll use. So surely there’s another one or two crazy cats like me who’ll want to use it too!
The thing is, sometimes you want to treat a special friend, or celebrate something that’s not necessarily a birthday. Or perhaps the birthday was a couple of weeks ago but you’re pretty hopeless at getting round to buying presents, so getting a “happy birthday” card seems a bit off. This is the card for you.
The black “Oh happy day” typography is embellished with a beautiful branch of leaves. But it says so much more than that. It says “congratulations”, it says “you’re awesome”. It says “you’re an awesome human and you make the world better for being in it” (but that wouldn’t fit very well…).
So grab one for a special someone, or stash a few away to always be prepared (there’s discounts available for quantities of 5 or more so…).
“Oh happy day” is printed onto our silk standard white card and blank inside. This 148mm wide x 210mm high card (when unfolded) card comes paired with the rustic kraft brown envelope.
